The print version of the San Francisco Chronicle will die
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer has just closed down its print operations. The Hearst company, which also owns the San Francisco Chronicle was quoted as saying:
Last month Hearst said it would sell or close its money-losing San Francisco Chronicle if costs can’t be cut quickly.
